As a project engineer originally from a design background I firmly believe there is no such thing as a QA problem. Instead I see them as design problems, engineering problems, production problems, supply chain problems etc.I have developed a deep expertise in engineering project management and Quality Management Systems. My experience spans complex engineering projects, supply chain management, and consultancy, where I've consistently driven improvements in efficiency, compliance, and project controls and delivery.Previously, I have operated as a Consultant Engineer and Director at Designovation Project Services Ltd, focusing on criticality assessment of oilfield equipment and supply chain management. In the recent past I have also provided consultancy to Aberdeen-based energy operators enhancing supply chain efficiency and operational readiness. I have also managed design and fabrication projects at Harran Ltd, addressing challenges in project integration for several large helifuel packages, ensuring compliance with industry standards. My earlier roles include Senior Project Engineer positions at WGPSN and Wood Group, where I managed complex engineering projects, including supporting Brownfield and EPC contract work on Triton FPSO, Montrose & Arbroath platforms, platform upgrades across various Shell North Sea upgrades and BP’s Andrew Platform development. My O&G career began in 1992 within various design engineering positions relating to downhole equipment and then progressed into a management role in Fire and Gas consultancy at Micropack Engineering.I have consistently demonstrated expertise in project delivery, regulatory compliance, and the development of quality assurance procedures across all areas of my career.
