After a brief but successful tenure at DELL, he moved to IKON Office Solutions and into the role of Canadian Vice President/ General Manager, responsible for 14 offices in Eastern Canada, leading more than 750 employees, while managing a budget of over $95 million and all associated profit & loss responsibilities. Since 2008, Steve has been in the private sector working with two Microsoft partners, TGO Consulting and Second Foundation helping them realize their potential in top and bottom line performance managing all their Sales and Marketing efforts. The respect that he has earned from his peers through his achievements and total dedication is reflected by people’s eagerness to both work alongside him and to trust his lead. His lead-by-example philosophy fosters a culture of accountability that breeds success. While Steve finds great fulfillment in sharing his wealth of knowledge and expertise, he still considers every day as an opportunity to learn how to be better at what he does, which is why he is an active member of PEO (Presidents of Enterprising Organizations) – a professional group of market leaders who meet regularly to learn from each other’s experiences.Steve’s business success can be in large part attributed to his competitive hockey background, which had him leaving home at the age of 15 to play 3 years of Major Junior ‘A’ hockey in the OHL. Despite the tough demands of an elite hockey schedule, Steve always managed to maintain academic honours status throughout high school and college.
