A Colorado-based coach and member of USA Swimming, Steve Fair coordinates swim programs at Pikes Peak Athletics. He leverages nearly two decades of experience with organizations, such as Rocky Mountain Rapids and Woodmoor Waves, to help Colorado swimmers compete in meets. His swimming teams are comprised of members ranging from youth-aged participants to retirees. In addition to helping beginner swimmers learn the foundations of the sport to achieve team goals, Steve Fair instructs skilled athletes who participate in Olympic Trials qualifiers. Developing energy systems plans, organizing travel, and serving as a liaison between the company and swim board are among his other daily responsibilities. Aside from traveling across the United States for work, he has ventured to tropical destinations, like Jamaica and the Bahamas, for family vacations. He also spent time in Mexico for a homebuilding mission trip and journeyed to Germany when he swam competitively. Stateside, he lives an active lifestyle that includes playing Ultimate Frisbee and running marathons. His other interests include reading contemporary literature and playing the guitar.
