I started as a Fibre Channel technical support engineer, but took on administering the existing knowledge management system from Knova (Consona).I helped configure RightNow (Oracle), and transitioned the Knova knowledge articles. We used that program for over a year until we could move to Salesforce. QLogic has been using Salesforce CRM for years. Once we set up Knowledge for Salesforce, I then moved the documents from RightNow to Salesforce. I am a major proponent of retaining as much knowledge as possible within a company, therefore I monitor chat conversations between level 1 and level 2 for information that should be retained, along with reviewing closed cases for same.I then work with marketing and service and sale engineers to craft the documents and get them through the publication process.I created and provided the training for RightNow, Salesforce Knowledge, and document publication and effective searches.
