Steve began his formal career as an inspector for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey working on heavy civil projects in the Marine and Aeronautical sectors. Challenging projects included pier rehabilitation and the construction of the first Aircraft Firefighting Training Facility in the New York Metro area. Leaving the Port in 1997 to join Skanska USA as an Assistant Superintendent working on New York City Public School rehabilitations, Steven moved up the ranks to Lead Superintendent on new hospital construction, telecom and mass transit projects. In 2004 Steve started, Molten Mechanical & Metal Works, Ltd., which specializes in institutional, commercial and industrial heating and cooling plant construction, upgrade and repair. Clients include the various agencies of the City of New York, Memorial Sloan Kettring Hospital, Rockefeller University, Montefiore Medical Center as well as other select private clients. * Molten Mechanical & Metal Works, Ltd. received certification from the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association on installation of Ground Source Heat Pumps in 2016.* Molten Mechanical & Metal Works, Ltd. received certification a a Certified Mitsubishi City Multi Installer in 2013.* Molten Mechanical & Metal Works, Ltd. received certification as a Factory Authorized Solar Domestic Hot Water Heating installer by Buderus/Bosch Thermotechnologies in 2008.Steve continues to strive for excellence in his career, home and community.Specialties: Team building, design, safety, innovation,quality craftsmanship, integrity, customer satisfaction....
