As an elected County Councillor I have a track record of successful achievement and delivery evidenced by great feedback from residents. I’m particularly motivated by my work in education: as Executive Member for Education in Hampshire I’m responsible for around 500 schools plus our amazing libraries. My prime focus is to ensure our young people receive the best possible start in life. I champion equality and environmental issues, along with openness and transparency - underwritten by sound financial judgement. My style is sensitive to the duty of care for people in the organisations and the area I serve. My work at Osprey, the award winning U.K. EV Rapid and Ultra Rapid charging infrastructure business, is focused on aiding decarbonisation by through increasing the number of new sites for ultrafast public charging, delivering mutually beneficial partnerships with land owners. It's completely separate to my elected role. I’ve been driving EVs as my preferred transport for over 13 years, and have driven well over 300,00 ⚡️ electric miles. I’ve previously worked in the high growth IT infrastructure industry, and am both strategic and commercially focused. I have excellent financial literacy, a forensic eye for detail and strong analytical skills, coupled with a pragmatic approach and good communication.

I advise on EV infrastructure, market trends and accelerating EV adoption, while working to identify, develop and deliver new sites (that we fully fund) which provide significant short and long term income to landlord/LA partners and help increase the rate of EV adoption. Osprey now has over 1200 EV locations nationwide. It is investing over £150million in delivering Ultra Rapid EV charging hubs alongside hundreds of Rapid charging locations, and growing faster than our competitors. Osprey is acknowledged by independents as the Chargepoint Network of the Year for the past two years. I have been working on developing new site opportunities for EV charging since April 2022 after 4 years as an independent consultant with the company. -
