As a founder/partner, I lead an integrated strategy team that includes new business development for agency and Live Nation clients, brand strategy, creative/content strategy, music partnerships, media planning & buying, program activation and measurement.Over the past 15 years, we have developed new entertainment properties and successful marketing programs for a host of endemic music/lifestyle brands as well as new entrants into cultural marketing like Google, Intel, Under Armour, American Express, Sierra Nevada, Hyundai, Hilton, Verizon, Ultimate Ears/Logitech, Qualcomm, Constellation Brands (Dreaming Tree Wines, Pacifico Beer), Nixon, Whole Foods, adidas and more. Now wholly owned by Live Nation (acquired in 2016), we have access and shared insight with the largest live entertainment company in the world. Producing over 50,000 events per year, including 150 global music festivals, 4,000 tours and shows in 300+ venues around the world, Live Nation reaches 150 million music fans a year. But while we have tremendous resources, we also retain our independent ability to work for any brand with any artist, festival, event or media partner. Together, we're able to create bespoke marketing programs for brands...with the strength and insight of Live Nation to leverage where appropriate.

In my short tenure at McCann, I built a new planning department of cultural-minded account planners, business-savvy strategy & analytics pros and channel planners for Microsoft's global business. Our team led B2C and B2B work for Microsoft Windows, Office and mobile, launched Zune, did some great work for the Boys and Girls Club of America and cracked a global platform for Nortel.But the highlight was working with Bill Gates' team to help author the company's new brand purpose which replaced "A PC on every desk and in every home." Because not everyone works at desks, and not everyone has a home, the [admittedly longer] articulation became "Put the power of personal computing within arm's reach of every person on the planet."
