The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the effective operation of information technology (IT) services and support across the organization. This individual oversees IT project management, resource management, supervision of IT staff, as well as communication with the executive team, business unit leaders, and end users. The IT Manager is also responsible for IT strategic and tactical planning, as well as identifying, selecting, and deploying the appropriate technology resources that will support corporate goals and objectives.● Pilot, develop, and manage all IT services, programs, and support throughout the enterprise● Provide internal and Member IT support (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance, etc.)● Oversee the implementation, deployment and operation of information systems and technology solutions● Assist senior management with the direction of IT strategic and tactical planning and initiatives● Research, design, and execute the appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end-user productivity● Hire, supervise, and support a skilled team of MLS® and IT professionals to help guide their professional development by performing annual reviews● Develop and manage a budget for technology, IT services, and personnel● Communicate with vendors and providers to ensure efficient service delivery and cost-effective purchases● Stay informed on new or emerging trends and technologies in the industry that provide clear benefits to the organization and Members● Attend regular industry related conferences and network with other associations to build an IT network of professionals
