Steve co-founded Compugen Finance (CFI), Compugen’s finance and asset disposition company, in 2007 and since then has led a dynamic team of leasing and asset disposition specialists across Canada supporting both CFI and Compugen accounts.His hands-on approach has led to CFI’s evolution from a leasing business to include a substantial refurbishment and reuse business. His engagement with Microsoft led to our being registered as Canada’s first Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR). MAR status gave us entrée into the US education market, partnerships with major Canadian retailers in the consumer space and opened doors into the Canadian non-profit and education sectors. Our recent foray into Europe has resulted in new partnerships and several large sales transactions in that region.In 2009 Steve created the award-winning asset disposition program Green4Good™, Canada’s most recognized and successful asset disposition program with corporate social responsibility credentials. Under the Green4Good brand, over 1,500,000 IT assets have been diverted from disposal and over $3,200,000 has been donated to charities. Green4Good continues to garner positive press recognition for Compugen and win sponsorships from major business partners. In early 2017 CFI became the first and only company to develop carbon credits from the resale of refurbished computers. CFI's CarbonBank program helps businesses receive carbon credits in exchange for their end-of-first-life technology which in turn help the business reduce their CO2 footprint.In addition to being the first company in the world to generate carbon credits from the sale of refurbished technology, we are a proud member of the United Nations Compac as well as being certified as a Bcorp. B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

CDI Computer Dealers was founded by Steve Glover and Brian Dumas in 1992 and rapidly became one of the largest resellers of refurbished computers into the education market.In addition to reselling refurbished computers, CDI also had their own in-house leasing program that originated over $200mm in technology.In 1998 Steve Glover sold CDI to Relational Funding of Chicago and stayed on to manage their leasing business in the eastern USA and Canada.

Steve joined Comdisco in 1984 as one of the founding members of the company in Canada. Steve was originally hired as an account executive and quickly progressed within the organisation to Assistant Vice President and then promoted to Vice President.Comdisco was the largest independent technology leasing company in the world offering creative leasing solutions to their corporate 500 clients.
