I served as one of the employee directors for the Atlassian Foundation May 2018 thru Feb 2023. I now serve as one of the external directors as an alumni of Atlassian. The Atlassian Foundation gives back in many ways: by giving employees time and funds to support the causes they believe in, by making direct donations to charities, and by donating Atlassian product licenses to non-profit and open source projects.

I spent an incredible "gap year" 100% focusing my attention on the many "non-work" communities that are important to me - my family, several non-profits, mentorship & advising, schools and more. It was an incredible year to reflect, give back & reset.

Steve Goldsmith is the Head of Product for Atlassian's Accelerator group.
