I have a very practical and common sense (often lacking with lawyers) approach to dispute resolution: I ask what the client needs, advise on the best way of achieving that and then help the client get to the outcome it needs.I have over 20 years of experience dealing with commercial disputes, I have acted for plcs, private companies and individuals. I also advise clients on contractual claims, and how clients should terminate particular contracts or respond to termination by other contracting parties.Recent successes involve defending sellers of businesses in warranty claims brought on the back of allegations of dishonesty and which have resulted in the dismissal or discontinuance of the claims. I have also acted on several claims successfully enforcing restrictive covenants against former employees. Such claims have included ‘team moves’. All claims have ended quickly with final injunctions and awards of damages, some of which have been for several million pounds.
