Rapidly gained experience from initially performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on school bus fleet, then expanded responsibilities by engaging in an active roadside support role. Perform field inspections as a licensed inspector to comply with NC Dept. of Public Instruction 30-day inspection program. Licensed to perform air conditioning system repairs. Determine and accomplish necessary repairs to ensure bus safety is maintained. Communicate positively with team members and bus driving staff. Safely drive Wake County service truck, and am licensed to drive school buses on all roads.

Managed Bombardier’s Raleigh line-maintenance station. Responsible for day-to-day station operation, contractual performance and safety. RDU had the best Safety record within all of the Regional Service Centers. Ensured station technicians’ training is fully compliant with Bombardier and customer requirements. Ensure station vehicles, equipment, and tooling are in satisfactory condition and records are current. Acted as working member of maintenance crew. The RDU station passed all regulatory audits with no or minimal findings. I was primary point of contact for all customer communication.

I was responsible for all shift operations, including communicating with Maintenance Control, Station Operations and flight crews. Preparing the turnover for the next shift for work in progress and issues that would occur on the next shift. Designate and balance workloads within the shift. Communicating with the customer for out-of-service aircraft and return to service time. Ensured all technicians were qualified for the assigned tasks. I performed training for less experienced technicians for both electrical and mechanical

Performed preventive maintenance, repair/replacement of components, operational tests and inspections on all systems of company airline aircraft.
