I handle technical enquiries received from the public, and troubleshoot issues reported by staff.Admin of social media accounts on behalf of two London borough library services, regularly creating content (I am familiar with Hootsuite), engaging with the public, and dealing with customer enquiries.Updating of content held in two library service mobile apps using a CMS from Solus. Recently seconded to design and develop a local services database website on behalf of Bexley Adult Social Care using Marketplace (CMS from OCC).Monitoring and reporting of statistics from all of the above using Google Analytics and other tools.Design and delivery of IT training to staff including full Advanced Library Management System (ALMS) training, booking systems, telephony, council software relating to parking permits, financial transactions, and more. Design and delivery of IT training to the public on topics including MS Office, iPads, Android, HTML, Internet safety, eBooks, and more. I’m registered with the BCS and invigilate ECDL qualification tests in our test centre.Regular work with people with additional needs, making use of assistive technologies where required. Outreach work at local community groups and events to promote library services.Organisation and delivery of events designed to increase library visits, including monthly reading groups for the visually impaired, a weekly gaming club for 11-19 year olds, and monthly “ITea & Biscuits sessions” to engage older people with technology.
