Formulated a pre-emptive rent review strategy for the centre 18 months ahead of the first review cycle, achieving a 20% improvement in Zone A. St Stephen’s won Retail Week’s Retail Destination of The Year in 2013 against competition from Bullring, Westfield Stratford and Meadowhall.- Spearheaded a Lease Regear campaign at Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon, improving the 5 Year Lease Expiry profile from in excess of 55% to 35%. Personally negotiated more than half of the deals. Undertook a £15m refurbishment of the centre.- Joint venture board member with Land Securities on Bon Accord in Aberdeen. Led and secured deals and initiatives that included the refurbishment of both shopping centres, with the refurbishment of St Nicholas winning a BCSC Award for it’s refurbishment in 2009. The refurbishment of Bon Accord was completed in January 2012.- Responsible for negotiating portfolio wide deals for British Land with the new owners of Jane Norman, Peacocks and Game. - Responsible for the retail leasing of British Land’s head office at Marble Arch, concluding deals to Patisserie Valerie, Aveda, Crussh and HSBC.
