Developed GNC outer and inner loop control laws and system monitors for multiple eVTOL aircraft types. Lead and mentor engineers through system and flight software design, analysis and testing. Deploy parameter identification techniques to enable model based control system optimization.

Subject matter expert for control law design, parameter identification and flight control system certification. Performed control law and autopilot modeling and analysis in CONDUIT and Simulink, incorporating requirements from multiple domains. Demonstrated full envelope fixed wing autopilot gain tuning in four weeks including modeling, autopilot gains optimization, aircraft dynamics identification, structural mode identification, notch filter design, ground testing, iron bird testing, and flight validation. Supported other Textron companies with eVTOL control law design, actuation, and engineer mentoring.

Architect and team lead for electrical hardware, desktop application, and web application development team. Experience included PCB circuit design and manufacturing, test automation scripting, Java desktop application programming, client/server web application development, and relational database design. Utilized object oriented software architectures following proven design patterns. Primary internal customer contact to derive innovative software requirements from customer needs and drive significant manpower savings.

Developed STOVL control laws encompassing hover through transition to CTOL. Integrated the autocoded control laws into a nonlinear 6 DOF piloted simulation. Conducted handling qualities evaluations of the integrated control laws, active side stick and active throttle.

Performed general aviation stability and control analysis. Supported low and high speed wind tunnel testing of business jet and turboprop aircraft.
