Steve has 16 years professional systems development experience primarily as a Database Developer specialising in MS Access / VBA with extensive experience with Oracle and SQL Server. His additional experience covers a wide range of development platforms including ASP.Net. He has worked in the private and public sector, both as an employee and on a contract basis with clients including BUPA and Land Rover.As sole developer, Steve built a prototype global dealer network database for the Premier Automotive Group to realise cross-brand synergies within Customer Marketing Areas. This was a high-profile project being demoed to the likes of Bill Ford (Ford CEO) and Bob Dover (Land Rover CEO). The prototype was built in MS Access with back end connectivity to multiple data-sources including SQL Server and Oracle database.Following a long period of illness, Steve spent 3 years rebuilding his working confidence through small Kickstarter projects. This helped him to become more engaged and productive and introduced 3D modelling and media skills into his repertoire. Having 'bounced back', Steve has spent around 6 months refreshing his skillset with the latest versions of SQL Server and the .Net framework, along with a broad range of web development tech.
