* Direct, manage and administer financial services of the College to ensure financial assessments, strategies, operational policies, and procedures are efficient, accurate and compliant, and support the aims and objectives of the College.* Manage, oversee, and facilitate departmental budgeting processing, including the formulation and management of purchasing strategies and procedures that meet the College business requirements for assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, and regulatory compliance.* Prepare financial records for audits and in cooperation with internal and external auditors.* Provide human resource management advice and support to assist the Principal in the managing the human resources of the College, including planning and implementing appropriate improvements to the general office operations; actioning staff performance appraisal processes; settling disputes and grievances; staff induction and training; facilitating professional development; relief replacement and coordination.* Co-ordinate the recruitment, supervision, mentoring and management of non-teaching staff, including reception and office staff, finance staff, grounds and maintenance staff, library staff, tuckshop staff, information technology support staff, cleaning staff, laboratory assistants and other teacher aides.* Coordinate the management of property and building maintenance and development activities and projects, including capital works projects and other relevant projects, as per building and facility maintenance and operational plans.* Manage, administer and oversee the implementation of contracts and the associated compliance and induction requirements of all contractors and external stakeholders as per the relevant local, state and federal authorities. * Develop and maintain appropriate contact and relationships with community and government organisations, including College Board, P&F and revelvant political, commercial & community stakeholders.

* Plan, control and manage the Ipswich Turf Club’s complete food, beverage and venue operations including financial budgeting and reports; stock control; food processes and handling; food and beverage staff recruitment, training and managing; function bookings and events.* Plan, control and manage the Ipswich Turf Club’s day-to-day operations including cash management; information technology; site maintenance such as cleaning, repairs and renovations; workplace health and safety procedures. * Event manage and ensure all logistical and compliance needs are met to successfully host up to 50 thoroughbred race meetings per year and over 150 functions and events the Club is contracted to host.* Manage the recruitment and operation of the required staff workforce including selection, induction, training, rostering, monitoring and performance managing processes.* Plan, control, and event manage various logistical services for the annual Ipswich Cup event attended by over 20,000 people.* Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders in securing vital sponsorship, partnership and exclusive supplier agreements in order source additional revenue sources.* Plan and implement marketing and communication strategies in order to promote and market the Club to attract new customers, broaden our appeal and increase revenue. * Implement and manage various club house policies and standards while also adhering to and complying to relative in-house, legislative and relevant stakeholder reporting conditions and policies.* Liaise with track and maintenance staff in maintaining the high presentation of venue and identify improvements to ensure a positive spectator experience. * Member of the project control group (PCG) in overseeing the $13 million redevelopment infrastructure project at the Ipswich Turf Club, playing a key role in the construction of a new $100,000 canteen and $1m AV upgrade project.

Responsible for the planning, implementing and delivery of a Council funded program that incorporates 30 physical activity sessions across three school holiday periods. • Designated Communications Officer and Social Media Manager – responsible for all Ipswich Sports House’s digital platforms (website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) as well as external communications such as media releases and relationships with media outlets, including writing and submitting a weekly newspaper column in the local newspaper. • Record, edit and promote all digital video content captured by Ipswich Sports House via the ‘ISHTV’ YouTube channel.

Ipswich Sports House (ISH) has a team of dedicated sport and recreation specialists (Sport and Recreation Officers) that work directly in the sport and recreation community of Ipswich City Council. These officers work at the Association and Club levels to assist in building capacity to ensure the long term viability and sustainability of sport and recreation delivery across Ipswich.I am also responsile for ISH's website and social media.

Responsible for the UQ Sport "Social Sport" program which includes fixtures in netball, 7-a-side soccer, indoor soccer, basketball, water polo and hockey. Also coordinate, plan and convene events for external parties.

Responsible for the UQ Sport "College Sport" program which included the planning, preparation and delivery of over 15 sports per year for the ten colleges on campus at UQ.

• General duties include bar service, service of alcohol, KENO, TAB and gaming facilities. • Adherence to laws as set out by Liquor Licensing.• Duty manager duties included the opening and closing of the hotel, staff management and rostering, dealing with customer complaints and queries, stock control and inventory.
