The Oxford Medical Diagnostics Centre is the leading NHS molecular diagnostics service in the UK being the first and (currently) only NHS centre to gain CPA approval for tests based on next generation sequencing (NGS) techniques.I am responsible for the design, development and installation of information systems for NGS, together with the genome-phenome databases that support reporting and research. I also provide expertise to the 100K Genomes project for clinical informatics, and was lead developer on the cancer data model for its early development.
