Currently, I work on the VITA / NG Partnership project as a senior and Valuable member of the TIER 3 Core Networking Infrastructure team in the NETWORK TOWER. On a daily basis, I play a lead role as a Senior Network Engineer maintaining the datacenter equipment for all of the Commonwealth of Virginia's networking infrastructure that comprise of Cisco and Nortel L2/L3 Switches, routers, and firewalls. I played a key role in the coordination of the relocation of some 1500 servers from the downtown data center to the new Enterprise datacenter that Northrop Grumman built in Chester Virginia. I am a valuable member of a team that installed and built out the new core Cisco infrastructure in the new Northrop Grumman Datacenter I worked with cabling contractors to perform the cabling design to connect all of this infrastructure to the CESC Datacenter backbone. While here, I have been a Senior Firewall resource for our customers and have Installed and configured numerous LAN to LAN VPN Tunnels and Client VPN configurations for many of VITA’s state government customers.
