Steve moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2002 where he played a key role in the innovation of broadband in the education sector. Steve has been with Telnet since 2003 and his role includes overseeing Telnet’s complex IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless integration with Telnet’s clients.• Senior Management of a heavily IT orientated 24/7/365 outsource Contact Centre, dealing with multimedia contacts for a variety of large New Zealand companies. • Have led and grown the IT provision, software development and support and development staff to a point where the company is consistently regarded as one of the most technically competent outsource contact centres in the country. • Have been instrumental in developing a vision for the company, and instituting these ideas and ideals in staff and clients at all levels• Headed up project teams to deliver complex IT hardware, software and telephony strategies for high profile projects covering the whole of NZ, for clients ranging from telecommunication and utility companies to the NZ government.• Overall technical and fiscal responsibility for all IT related work within the company.• Increased team size and capability, including delegation of technical ownership of systems to a new IT Manager when moving to a GM role in 2010
