Responsible for producing point and distribution forecasts by week on a daily basis for over 8 million products in 6 countries as a member of the Demand Forecasting team, I was involved in all aspects of data collection, analysis, forecast model design, testing, implementation, optimization, and automation. Specific accomplishments include developing a system to correct forecasts for lost demand due to out-of-stocks, improving forecasts for holiday demand spikes, developing a comprehensive end-to-end automated testing environment for forecast simulations, and developing a system for generating forecasts based on user-generated item similarities. In my free time I built an internal website for peer-to-peer book lending, winning the Amazon "Just Do It" award.

Within the Robotics and Intelligent Systems Group I developed novel, biologically motivated machine learning and natural language processing algorithms, built and conducted experiments with said algorithms in simulated robotic environments, and presented results at annual Student Symposium.
