Responsibilities included:• Partnering with President to develop the strategic direction of the company• Working closely with the functional leaders of the business to improve their understanding of the creation of financial value and to keep appropriate focus on achieving financial objectives• Improving/developing the talent of the finance organization and working with the leadership team of the company to do the same company-wideKey accomplishments included:• Actively contributing to the growth of the company: o Growing sales from <$20M in 1998 to >$100M in 2014 o Growing earnings from <$4M in 1998 to >$23M in 2014 o Nine years of consecutive growth• Closing on two successful acquisitions and, just as importantly, keeping the company from acquiring several candidates that, as discovered through well-defined due diligence processes, did not ultimately measure up• Increasing the financial literacy of the leadership team, middle management and high potential employees through development and presentation of financial training, followed by ongoing periodic financial reviews• Initiated group mentoring sessions with designated “high potential” employees to broaden their strategic/financial skillset(subsidiary- Dover Corporation)

Key accomplishments included:• Implemented the “Balanced Scorecard” of key measurables to focus business efforts across all departments• Received award for best Receivables management in parent company; reduced levels by 40%• Negotiated joint venture agreement in Pacific Rim and later negotiated dissolution (Steelcraft Division of Ingersoll Rand acquired from Masco Corporation)

Key accomplishments included:• Led development of multi-million dollar plan to install Computer Integrated Manufacturing focused on customer benefits in lead times and quality• Expanded systems efforts into customers’ needs through development of software for distributor quoting activities• Targeted and negotiated with acquisition candidates(Steelcraft Division)

Key accomplishments included:• Initiated and implemented Just-in-Time concepts resulting in lead time reduction of 50%, inventory reduction of 30%, elimination of stock-outs and reduction in customer complaints• Set up assembly facility in distribution center to broaden customer product offering- key to obtaining $5 million account• Reduced raw material cost by 5% over tenure compared to 16% overall price increase
