In the early years of my professional career I worked for one of the Big 4 accounting firms in Europe and New Zealand. During that period I worked on a wide range of assignments involving financial & operational audit, due diligence, privatisation, enterprise restructuring, governance and succession. In the early 1990’s I was a founding member of one of the first East European offices of Ernst & Young (EY). From 1992 to early 1998, while working for EY in Europe, I was involved in several high-profile projects sponsored by major international financial institutions, including the World Bank, IMF and EBRD. During that period I was part of an international team of financial advisers assisting Central and East European governments with pilot privatisation and restructuring projects.After relocating to New Zealand, I worked in the Audit Division of EY in Auckland. My professional recruitment and search career started in February 2000 when I joined the newly established Auckland branch of a well-known international recruitment firm. Later I joined one of the larger NZ owned recruitment companies and became the manager of their accounting and finance division in Auckland.In my next role I managed the accounting practice of an established executive recruitment & search firm in Auckland.Prior to establishing SCI Consulting Group, I headed up the accounting, banking & finance practice of one of the oldest and largest fully integrated HR, executive recruitment and search firms in New Zealand.I am a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand and previously have been a non-executive director of an international software company and a board member of a US based investment group with operations around the world.I have a wide range of professional interests with recruitment & search, HR & organisational behaviour, finance and the wider economy on top of my list.Specialties: executive search, chartered accounting/accounting & finance recruitment, talent sourcing, mid to senior management level appointments, social media, staff planning, succession planning, employer branding.
