Managing current & new business for Shell-Arrow, Origin-APLNG and QGC. Focused on MAC (main automation contractor) projects, OTS, MES and business layer applications for these new businesses.

Working primarily on new projects. Automation for critical infrastructure: oil & gas, MMM, power stations, process plants.

MultiTrode specialized in innovative control and monitoring technology for water and wastewater pump stations. As the sales and marketing manager I was responsible for:- sales outside of the US (by managing a direct sales force in Australia and overseas distributors)- product marketing (matching customer base unmet needs with company capabilities and specifying new products)- promotional marketing (articles in trade press, brochures & website, promotional material)

Originally working for Mitec, a listed company on the ASX, which was purchased by Codan in January 1998. Through the acquisition, initially covered some sales territories (SE Asia & Southern Africa) for Satellite Communications and Microwave Radios, then became the Marketing Manager for Microwave Radios. This was a challenging role in an extremely competitive field.

Responsible for major accounts: Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, NEC, Panasonic.

Sales Manager for high tech semiconductors for communications, PCs, embedded PCs and industrial controls.

Design Engineer for what was then Control Techniques, later purchased by Emerson.

GEC Marconi was one of the major engineering companies of the UK. Their semiconductor operations in Lincoln were later taken over by Dynex Power.GEC Marconi became GPS (GEC Plessey Semiconductor) and specialized in high power thyristors, GTOs, and IGBTs.As an R&D Engineer I worked on GTO (gate turn-off thyristor) design.
