Steve is a software architect with over 25 years experience delivering solutions for the majority of the largest U.S. telecommunications companies. He is an expert in driving the development of large, cutting-edge software projects utilizing web, mobile, and cloud technologies. More recently he has developed many iOS applications including Princess Ph.D.®, Pirate Ph.D.®, Charlottesville Ballet, iQuit, Advenueture, and Gender Gap. Gender Gap won the grand prize in the U.S. Department of Labor Equal Pay app challenge. Steve managed the creation of the new customer-facing internet portal for the Sprint 4G WiMAX unit providing product delivery, e-commerce, device registration/activation, account management, and support functions. He also lead the development and production support for multiple applications supporting the customer-facing portals for Verizon Business’ federal government customers. These portals provide various functionality including: ordering, order status, price quote, inventory view, and feeds to billing. The contracts covered were FAA/LINKS, US Postal Service, ORBIT, US House of Representatives, DREN, Navy & Marine, and FTS2001 supporting approximately $750 million in revenue per year. Steve received a BBA in Management Information Systems degree from James Madison University and a MS in Information Systems degree from American University.Steve has a strong technical background in a variety of platforms, but recently enjoys working on Unity, React, and AWS platforms.
