I have in excess of 30 years experience as trusted advisor to some of Queensland's most significant public, private and government businesses. I have a passion for my people, my team and my clients and helping them realise their potential. I apply the trusted concierge framework in collaborating with my clients and I always strive to understand their current needs, goals and ambition. I believe the future is bright for those of us that seek to use disruptive technologies to enhance the human relationship with our clients - we must focus on what cannot be disrupted - being human.In addition to my focus on being a trusted concierge for my private and family businesses clients , I have advised some of Queensland business' most significant transactions and initial public offerings in relation to matters of corporate and international taxation. I have also led the delivery of tax services to some of Queensland's largest listed corporations and government owned enterprises.I have had a long and extremely rewarding involvement with The Tax Institute and was privileged to be the National President and Chairman in 2015, having served as a member of the board for the previous 6 years. I am also proud to have been appointed to the Advisory Panel to the Board of Taxation in January 2013 and a member of the Board's Tax Policy working group in 2015/16. During my tenure as president of The Tax Institute I was a member of the ATO's National Tax Liaison Group (from January 2014 to December 2015).

Steve led the Tax and Private business units for Deloitte in Queensland and was a member of Deloitte's national tax executive team. During his time at Deloitte, Steve was also a member of the Brisbane executive and the firm's national leadership group.
