Sr Director of Inventory Operations takes a "Performance and Customer Driven" leadership role for HD Supply in inventory and supply chain management. The Vice President of Demand Planning responsibilities include overall ownership of all demand planning related activities with a main focus of ensuring our customers have access to any products we offer and purchase them in a way that supports their lifestyle. Converted to a shared omni-channel inventory model and lead the team responsible for working with the appropriate leaders of cross-functional teams to develop forecasting, replenishment and allocation strategies to ensure agreed processes and procedures are in place to support it. Responsible for the activities of 135 direct and indirect customer-centric associates. Lead additional team of professionals that support the proper assortment and quantity for our new and remodel store project growth.

The Senior Director of Demand Planning responsibilities include overall ownership of all demand planning related activities with a main focus of developing strategies to ensure proper stock and service levels to maximize the customer experience. Responsible for working with the appropriate leaders of cross-functional teams to develop forecasting, replenishment and allocation strategies in direction to ensure agreed processes and procedures are in place to support it. Responsible for the activities of 120 direct and indirect customer-centric associates.

Responsible for leading team in planning and analyzing annual sales volume of $350 million national textile and craft retailer. Directed and developed first ever seasonal and annual financial plans along with monthly open to buy process. Converted company replenishment model from a pull store driven ordering process to centralized push allocation and automated replenishment while maintaining a 94% service level up from 89%.Accomplishments:• Reduced warehouse holding inventory by $29 million dollars in first year (17% decrease).• Directed implementation of consolidating a multi channel process into 1 cohesive business unit.• Developed innovative time sensitive analyses to capture emerging trends.

Responsible for leading team in planning and analyzing annual sales volume of $700 million for all girls’ apparel and accessories. Directed and developed complex seasonal and annual financial units and assortment class plans along with store level sales plans in conjunction with company’s financial guidelines. Direct reports included 6 Merchandise Planners, 1 Allocation Manager and 7 Merchandise Allocator-Replenishers. Accomplishments:• Surpassed first half plan by 2% with a 150 basis point improvement in profit.• Directed implementation of consolidating a multi channel process into 1 cohesive business unit.• Developed innovative time sensitive analyses to capture emerging trends.

Responsible for annual sales volume of $500 million for 384 stores for all Men’s and Young Men’s apparel divisions. Developed seasonal and annual financial plans along with store level unit plans to achieve the financial expectations of the company. Managed 3 Directors of Planning as direct reports with 27 Merchandise Planners Allocator-Replenishers as indirect reports.Accomplishments:• Awarded 2006 Chairman’s Award for Top Merchandising Division for sales & profit.• Lead and coached team to deliver Company’s first 1,000,000 unit auto replenishment program.• Defined requirements and built innovative cross functional Store Planning organization.

Responsible for establishing a planning and allocation division. Developed and implemented current Legacy systems including Allocation and Auto replenishment. Partnered with merchants to establish Assortment planning tools. Responsible for all planning and allocation functions in Men’s and Women’s apparel and accessories. Recruited and trained 4 Directors and Managers and 18 Planner-Distributors.Accomplishments:• Established P&A organization from inception to fully functional team of 33 employees.• Promoted to Vice President-Planning and Allocation-September 1999.• Developed and launched Company’s initial EDI/Auto Replenishment program.
