Roamer design and build ultimate LiFePO4 leisure batteries for campervans, boats and off grid living. My background in electrical engineering and grid scale energy generation meant that campervan electrics were a natural progression and a way to combine my skills and passions. Roamer started as a lockdown business working from home (in Leeds) and it was common to see dozens of batteries stacked up in our kitchen/warehouse! Since then we've gone from strength to strength with growth of over 1000% in the last 12 months. We now design and spec all parts of the battery range, from the specialist LiFePO4 cells to the terminal bolts. Shipping is handled at a dedicated warehouse, there is an admin office in central Leeds and we are moving into European and US markets soon.

As founder and director, my role was to manage key client relationships and large technical projects as well as ensure the day to day management and growth of the company as a whole.

Head office and call centre was in Leeds although we operated all over the UK through our network of 'local business consultants'. In 4 years the business grew to 30 staff and became the number one distributor for TalkTalk Business in the UK.
