Currently building the Data & Analytics function for the group of companies working with Techplain.io while working on the below objectives.• Setting the vision, and strategic direction of the Data and Analytics function and guiding implementation to ensure maturation of business intelligence.• Ensuring data quality and effectiveness of BI tools and data models• Bridging between business stakeholders and the tech team for BI requirements.

• Led the team in creating an automated credit scoring model using Machine learning. The model assisted the credit team in increasing customer eligibility by 35% while keeping the bad debts to less than 1.5%.• Average credit limits for first time credit customers increased by 10% while repeat credit customers limits increased by 28.5%.• Led a team of 4 data analysts and owned the company-wide credit, finance, logistics and customer service analytics and achieved a >95% satisfaction rate based on reports/dashboards availability and accuracy.• Implemented several report improvements which have resulted in significant time savings and increased operational efficiency which saved over 200 people hours per month across different functions.• Collected requirements and specifications from stakeholders and business function leaders and transformed them into tangible reports. I led the team in automating more than 10 high impact reports.• Led in the creation of a self-service data model for the logistics and customer service team.

Volunteer Role. UN OCHA Centre for Humanitarian Data Reviewer Pool on Predictive Models. The Predictive Analytics pool provides support to the humanitarian community around the development, evaluation, validation and application of data science tools to better inform humanitarian response.Reviewers are expected to:- Assess submitted models in line with the evaluation criteria identified in the Peer Review Framework.- Complete the Model Evaluation Matrix or Ethical Matrix included in the Peer Review Framework.- Provide recommendations to the partners submitting the models.

• I supported the retail banking department with analytics on performance measurement KPIs and Metrics on Credit, Deposits, Active Accounts.• Extracted data from relevant sources, processed and analyzed it as per standard performance metrics of the bank.• Ensured a streamlined process of reporting on weekly and monthly KPIs on loan disbursements, trade finance and customer accounts activity.

• Led the monitoring and evaluation exercise and Metrics definition for BDOs project on Rwanda’s Extender Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework.• Led the creation of a staff performance dashboard on Power BI whereby key performance KPIs were monitored to assess the performance of employees at all levels e.g., Employee project chargeability, timesheets compliance, project profitability and leave utilization. Saved >150 people hours for each appraisal period.• I was the Devops lead and Product Management lead for the BDOs internal practice management system.• I led other various business intelligence projects for BDO clients and enabled them gain value and insight from data to make sound business decisions e.g., Kenya Airways and Airtel Rwanda.

• I identified new data process improvement opportunities that assisted the network performance in 4G metrics and KPIs to rise by 8.3 % by automating complex, manual and error-prone processes.• Built ETL queries on databases/data systems from primary and secondary data sources.• Led the processes of data labeling and visualization.• Conducted data Collection from Vendor Tools – NETNUMEN, PRS, ENIQ

• Created and deployed an analytics application at KCB Bank for card payments, transaction monitoring and regulatory compliance.• Created revenue assurance analytics reports at Kenya Revenue Authority.• Developed and maintained a client pipeline and internal management dashboard at KPMG used for tracking business performance, cost management, resource allocation, budget to actual comparisons, clients, clients churn rate and financials.

• I built a line of business application and an analytics platform running on Microsoft Azure which enabled data collection and collaboration between different stakeholders in the agriculture value chain.

The Knowledge For Life program, dubbed ‘K4Life’, is a corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at bridging the gap between the national university ICT curriculum and the industry needs.Top groups of IT students are educated, trained and mentored in different sectors available in the ICT industry. I acquired industry training on SAP, CRM, Data Centers, IRE, SOA, HealthCare IT, Network Operations and Branding.

Participated in Safaricom Appwiz Challenge which was designed to identify developers with interests in Mobile ICT. This focused on developing ICT businesses through the provision of mentorship, training, and incubation to allow start-ups to further develop their prototype solutions before entering the market.
