I was fortunate enough in my life to have been raised by a family of geeks and nerds (we consider it a compliment!)- My Grandfather worked at Fermilab, my Mother earned her Masters as an Electrical Engineer, and my Father owns an on-site PC repair business. We had computers in the house in the late 70's, and internet access in the mid-80's! My whole life has been surrounded by computers; I have been building websites since age 17, and computers since I was 12. Needless to say, the apple didn't fall far from the tree!My life experience has brought me to many places professionally, but while I was the Technical Coordinator for NLU in Chicago, where they nicknamed me "Tech Guy Steve", and I ultimately met my wife, and we came her home here in Florida to start our family.Most recently, my positions have allowed me to expand upon my Customer Support expertise with roles that had me interacting directly with their most critical resource: Their VIP users. In those roles, I've brought patience, understanding, and urgency to their users' needs, ensuring that our most important users remained just that: Our clients. I am excited to utilize these talents during my next employment opportunity.With the perspective provided by my unique work history, I am a versatile and analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills. I also have extensive experience in working successfully with a multitude of populations; from Senators to Students. Additionally, I've managed teams up to over 40 employees, and have been promoted from within into those positions each time. Never satisfied with "that'll do", in 2014, I began working towards my Bachelors in Information Technology all while being a full time employee, and a father to a newborn!With 109 credits, and a 3.25 GPA, I came to a realization: I loved taking development classes, and found that coding reminded me of the love that brought me into this field. I decided to make a more proactive change in my life, and joined Wyncode.
