Floyd County Current is a niche product of The Tribune — a lifestyle magazine featuring the best of this unique Southern Indiana community across the Ohio River from Louisville.

Oversaw community relations, editorial expenses, content planning and staffing at two newsrooms of daily community newspapers. What had been inferior products in an extremely competitive metropolitan market have become respected watchdogs for our communities with higher productivity, quality and improved customer service.

Niagara Falls, Ny

Revitalized content and found efficiencies among several properties (40,000 copies daily in Niagara Falls, Lockport, North Tonawanda and Medina) in Western New York while boosting community relations. During my time there, we were able to improve the content and presentation content highlighted by the Niagara Gazette being named the Associated Press “Newspaper of the Year” in its class.

As the Assistant Managing Editor, I helped lead a respected newsroom staff of 28 full-time employees. I organized all news coverage and project planning for 12 reporters and editors as well as copy edit. I also managed pagination and design staff, completed salary reviews and coordinated new hires.
