Fixing the tape backup routine was my first project in taking over the IT of Holladay. Putting in stable virus protection was step #2. Created the initial LAN/WAN firewall schema that allowed for the growth of over 30 remote offices without making any core modifications. I like Dave Ramsey, and believe he has helped a tremendous amount of people, but investment advice is the weakest link in his overall strategy. If you have an extremely high risk aversion, you should not spread your investment capital across 4 types of mutual funds; Instead, you should invest less than 20% in stock, buy Treasury Notes/Bonds/Bills, and keep the rest in Money Market accounts. If you can not sleep at night because of the fluctuations of your portfolio, you do not need to be heavily invested in the stock market.

Computerized this firm to run Payroll, AP, AR and GL on the original Radio Shack TRS-80.
