Created and maintained Tableau (8.3 and 9.x) workbooks, views, data sources, extracts, dashboards, users and groups. Created and maintained tables and views for Tableau data sources. Performed Tableau server upgrades from Tableau 8.3 to 9.0 and from 9.0 to 9.3. Created and maintained tables and views in a data warehouse using Oracle Warehouse builder. Wrote Oracle SQLPlus scripts that create pipe (|) delimited text files to be used by finance for month-end processing. Created Microsoft PowerShell scripts that first sets parameters in Oracle views to extract specific data and then kicks off a Tableau refresh/increment which uses that data, and finally it monitors the progress of the refresh/increment on the Tableau server. Sole developer/supporter for the Oracle 11g backend for Abbott Diagnostic's Livelink system. Respond to production problems and requests for system modifications. Created documentation to move changes into the production environment as well as documentation for user acceptance of such changes. Performed user acceptance testing of Oracle views and character (comma, semicolon, and pipe) delimited files for Abbott’s business separation project, ensuring that the data in the views and character separated files matched the data in the base tables. Project lead in creating, designing and developing a new stand-alone Oracle framework application which allowed for the creation and maintenance of label material specifications in one area eliminating the need for duplicated efforts.Worked with a team to create a new system which automated the process of getting sales orders from various external sources (such as Lotus Notes) to be created as Oracle sales orders. After completing Basic and Advanced training at Fort Jackson, SC, I was stationed at Fort Eustis, VA, and assigned as an Awards Clerk. Shortly after I was moved to be the clerk for the Command Sergeant Major of the 7th Transportation Group, and also worked with the Group Commander and Deputy Commander. I was then transferred to Seoul, South Korea, where I worked in Eighth Army/US Forces Korea/United Nations Command Headquarters in the J4 - Plans and Programs Division. After 13 months in Korea, I was transferred to Fort Polk, LA, where I was assigned as a Legal Clerk in the 4/6 Infantry, 5th Infantry Division. After my active duty service, I was a member of the United States Army Reserves until May of 1994, holding administrative positions at the 213th Service and Supply Battalion, Wausau, WI, and the 44th General Hospital, Madison, WI.
