Henry on Eighth was a true neighbourhood bar and restaurant; licensed for 180 patrons, it initially offered breakfast and lunch service before settling on evenings only from 2019. Among its other highlights: close to 150 nights of live art on the Henry stage, weddings, wine dinners, milestone birthday parties and street festivals. The threat of property redevelopment forced Henry on Eighth to close in February 2024.
