I remember as a little kid of four or five, wandering off at any opportunity to explore Nature - such complexity - such a nuisance for my mum! • I just loved exploring & I still do.Then at eleven, tape recorders & electronics 'found me'.I taught myself how to build transmitters from scrap for a Radio Station, & a couple of years later, amplifiers for my rock band - both activities nearly landed me in big trouble :~)• Technology, Music+Media & Learning have stayed with me to this day.At 25, despite interesting work in Cambridge, I still wanted to 'know more'. I chose an unusual path, by learning Meditation & Tai Chi.A year later, these transcendental skills became merged with my daily jogging & Canadian Mounties fitness regime. (true!) These exercises had such an impact at work & play, that I uprooted to a log cabin in remotest Pyrénées-Orientales to 'explore'. It was an amazing experience, communing with Nature. I learned to 'see' in a new way: no problem is 'insoluble'.• I still practice this regime almost every single day.A decade later, I returned to the UK to raise a family - plenty of Learning there!I became a teacher to pass on my experiential knowledge.• Learning Delivery reinforces reflective & analytical abilities beyond measure.Then the Recession, Obstacle or Opportunity?Through adversity, I saw Opportunity! I went back to Uni & studied modern aspects of Innovation, Technology, Creative Media & UX Design. It proved to be a highly successful strategy.• Adversity is the key to Innovation & Creativity. It stimulates the Mind to see 'what is not'.
