SharePoint Design Authority, Team Lead and Delivery Architect for multiple SharePoint/Office 365 projects.- Office 365 Deployment: A 10,000 seat defence-related organization had dated IT infrastructure, and required a 100% re-engineer of 50+ COTS and bespoke applications to leverage the SharePoint Online/Office 365 platform. Leading an 8-person team, I acted as technical design and delivery authority.- Document Management and HR Workflow Solutions: Creation of a bespoke repository for tens of thousands of documents with workflow and business process. Delivering coded and declarative workflows. including customisation, bespoke coding, packaging and deployment within SharePoint.- SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2010 Migration: A mature 5000 user SharePoint 2003 estate was migrated in a year-long project with an average team size of eight FTE’s. Steve’s personal responsibilities span the entire project life-cycle from vision and business case authoring, team supervision of coding and delivery, to managing implementation and business change. Software architecture development for a large public sector MOSS 2007 project using an agile methodology.

End-to-end technical leadership of a large public sector MOSS 2007 project using an agile methodology. Collecting business requirements, hands-on prototyping including configuration and custom code. Authoring Functional Specifications. Leading a technical team in delivery to specification. Ensuring deliverables are produced to time and budget constraints.

Consulting with clients on Sharepoint implementations, including Business Intelligence integration and intranet/extranet portals. Designing and implementing code for custom interfaces to line-of-business applications and custom administrative utilities. Authoring XML and CSS artifacts to implement custom features and branding in Sharepoint portals. Configuring WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 multi-server farms, in a VMWare and a native Windows 2003 environment. Acting as a technical resource to a sales team, including client and marketing presentations.

Design and development of the National Packaging Waste Database. The company is contracted to produce an internet portal through which the EA will implement the Packaging Waste Regulations (2005). In the current phase, I was required to develop a Producer module to link and build upon the existing 3-tier architecture. The company uses an agile methodology (DSDM). My tasks included data modeling, iterative software design and coding, testing, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Design and development of ‘i-Price’. The company has over 60,000 product lines, and required 20+ Marketing Managers to be able to make pricing decisions for groups of products, and to proof-read a WYSIWYG version of the printed price-list on-screen. The software allows the output of multiple custom price-lists for EDI projects and customer-specific applications. Also responsible for 3rd-line support, fault analysis, and enhancements for an existing ERP system (Eclipse) including order and invoice analysis, commission calculations, sales projection using linear regression, and other numerical analysis. ‘Eclipse’ is a Sharepoint solution, and the project involved Sharepoint/Web part configuration
