I currently oversee the technology direction, security and IT solutions for the firm's three locations (Spokane, Seattle & Portland). Having successfully completed the merger with the Portland office, my focus has shifted to understanding and leading the firm through the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence will bring to our industry.

Spokane, Washington Area

Oversaw IT operations for 22 stores covering 4 states and the corporate office. Built and developed an IT team that performed well in the support of all aspects of the retail operations. Ran projects for the organization that spanned multiple departments and business use cases. These projects included the technology side of new facilities and remodels, infrastructure design and upgrades, moves to cloud based solutions, regulatory compliance for the retail payment transactions (PCI) and pharmacy operations (HIPPA) and new processes or solutions that improved operational efficiencies. I worked closely with the department heads and merchandising staff to find and implement solutions that solved business challenges or took advantage of new opportunities. I was the organization's advocate for change management, assisting with the adoption and implementation of new processes and solutions to bring the company forward and to keep it focused on the future.

Served as the Director of Information Technology and in numerous other roles for a regional C.P.A. firm. Along with setting the technology direction and maintaining that critical environment, I tackled other needs of the firm as needs arose. For a 2 year period I also held the role of HR Director, managing the admin staff, processing payroll, retirement plans and the financial side of the operations. Due to the smaller company size, I developed many key vendor relationships to handle the needs of the firm and coordinated projects to assure that timelines and budget were met for each of those. I also had a client facing presence in this position as I worked with special clients advising them in their IT and accounting system needs.

Taught as an Adjunct Professor in Management Information Systems for the M.B.A. program. in this role, I participated in the development of course curriculum, taught classes, advised and facilitated projects coursework for students in the program.
