Learning to use code to develop programs has been a goal of mine since high school. Since then, I have gained an interest in developing apps and websites.During my time at College of DuPage, I worked as a delivery driver to save money to go to a university. While working, I developed an app that allowed me to keep track of my deliveries to ensure the amount of money I was paid at the end of the night was always correct. Now that I am enrolled at Illinois State University to finish my degree, I use my free time to get involved with multiple clubs. These clubs include mobile app development (Android Studio), game development (GameMaker), web development, and network security.Over the summer of 2016, I interned at Calamos Investments. I worked with ASP.NET to make improvements to their website which also included working with SQL Server to make changes to the database. I went into the internship with no prior experience using ASP.NET or SQL Server and was able to utilize tutorials to teach myself the necessary skills required to complete the tasks assigned to me within the first two weeks of working. Throughout the summer I was also required to work with ActiveBatch to make changes or update job scheduling.Working with code will always be a passion of mine and I am constantly trying to learn as much as possible. Specialities: Java (Eclipse IDE), Mobile Apps (Android Studio), System Development (UML), COBOL (Experience with JCL)
