Stephen Ligus is Vice President and Client Executive at Hylant, a fourth-generation family-owned and operated insurance brokerage headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. For more than fifteen years, Steve has consulted with organizations of all sizes throughout the manufacturing, healthcare, staffing and education industries as well as public sector agencies to develop, launch and maintain long-term employee benefit strategies. A lifelong Clevelander devoted to building on the continued growth and success of the region, Steve is passionate about non-profit volunteerism and helping others to realize their full opportunities. Steve is Past President of the Cleveland SHRM Chapter and Chairperson and a Founding Member of the Cleveland SHRM Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization seeking to promote the profession through the education of future leaders and provide HR’s voice in economic development throughout the area. Steve is a graduate of John Carroll University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science and completed his Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Healthcare Economics at the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
