SInce 1987 I have been with KLRU-TV (Austin PBS) as a production team member working in various positions; from studio & remote camera operator, stage manager, lighting technician, set designer/builder, video playback, to station master control operator for various broadcasts and live events, including the programs; "Austin City Limits". Technical Advisor/Instructor to the Broadcast School of Journalism Classes; upgrade and install broadcast radio and TV studio equipment. Responsible for instructing students in the proper usage of cameras, switchers, chroma-key, graphics, teleprompter, lighting, audio and digital video playback and recordings. Developed and produced the "Texas Newswatch"​ logo and photo ID press passes for the reporters. Act as production manager / technical engineer for their newscasts. Responsible for initiating & updating their live stream and website newscasts which also aired on local cable.

(Although no longer full-time with this company, I am occasionally called upon to assist with some of their larger projects.) Media Technician, responsible for production of live as well as recorded presentations in the area of corporate theater in various locations world-wide. Position included: video photographer, lighting designer/director, set designer, video editor, equipment maintenance & repairs. Corporate clients included IBM, Motorola, Dell Computer, Freescale Semiconductors,the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Compuadd, the United Way, and others.

Position included: Key grip (Film & Video) productions, video camera operator, lighting assistant, set construction, scripting, & editing on locations world-wide Assisted with construction of company's first multi-camera remote video truck, equipment upgrades, maintenance and repair. Office duties included: direct customer contact, data entries, word processing, shipping and receiving, billing, cataloguing, 16 mm film cleaning and repair, scheduling, and bulk mailing of promotional materials.
