• Maintain an in-depth understanding of business functions and the business environment for the Expense Reporting System.• Demonstrate strong communication skills to be able to work with external suppliers, internal eApps and global business unit Expense Reporting teams. • Assist with system implementations in the global roll-out of Expense Reporting modules and in creating a global standardized solution and environment• Provide technical solutions and reporting capabilities for departmental systems and for other internal Medtronic customers.• Responsible for importing Amex charges and for the weekly payment of expenses to American Express.• Accountable for ensuring current and accurate information in SAP, Traveler Profiles, and other software applications on a daily basis.• Conduct training on system software for new employees as needed.• Create training programs.• Act as the Super User role for the Americas and assist Canada, Europe and Asia/Pac where appropriate. • Create test scripts, work with validation, perform tests and approve system changes/enhancements to be moved into production.• Responsible for providing system update information to Expense Reporting Manager and Auditing team.• Identify improvement opportunities and share best practices within department.• Answer team member questions regarding system issues.• Complete special projects and assignments within the department as they are identified.• Facilitate the Global Governance team meetings.

Responsible for importing Amex charges and for the weekly payment of expenses to American Express. Monitor workload on a daily basis to ensure timely reimbursement payments and service commitments to users are met. Act as subject matter expert to work with expense reporting team to identify system and process issues and improvements. Resolve system problems and issues as they arise and work with the team to provide a consistently high level of service. Work with finance liaison’s to ensure accurate approval routing for expense reports. Assist manager in coordinating development of cross training within the team and department. Help identify and implement opportunities to improve Service Center operating efficiency wherever possible. Act as an information source on company policies and reimbursement procedures. Create and analyze ad hoc reports as requested. Testing of new Travel Services Software; working directly with software vendor and global partners.
