Migrated from Wentworth Rose to Origen, following merger of five IFA firms to form larger specialist IFA company (as part of the Aegon Group). New and expanded role as Marketing Services Manager for the group.First priorities were: (i) rebrand project to develop Origen brand, (ii) review outsource providers used by the five businesses (graphic designers, printers, mailing houses, etc) to form an approved panel. Principal ongoing role was the provision of marketing support to Senior Marketing Directors responsible for Media Alliances, Large Corporate, Client Servicing and Strategic Partners. Worked closely with Compliance team to ensure FSA regulations and requirements met by all material issued.Media Alliances - delivered campaigns to support the Telegraph, Mirror & Scotsman, including: compiling and design of in-paper advertisements; advertorials; copywriting, design and printing of support literature / prospect information packs; compiling and distribution of prospect seminar invitations and supporting collateral.Large Corporate - delivered collateral to support seminar programmes for major PLC clients (e.g. Bank of England, Prudential). Programmes targeted retirement, redundancy and financial awareness for employees. Collated and delivered annual campaigns using direct marketing to PLCs and other large corporates.Client Servicing - copywriting services and advice provided for communciations to client bank. Letters and other marketing collateral written, designed and distributed to promote Origen: e.g.topical issues and generic information to promote services available. Direct marketing included annual ISA mailing, Tax Year End Planning and Inheritance Tax Planning campaigns.Strategic Partners - responsible for copywriting, design and distribution of marketing collateral for Strategic Partners (including Chelsea FC Money), Professional Connections (primarily solicitor firms and accountancy practices) and SME Employee Benefit Consultants.

Responsibilities included initiating and implementing direct mail campaigns to Wentworth Rose clients, prospects and leads from media alliances with the Telegraph, Mirror and Scotsman (for their Pension Annuity Service) and existing clients of individual consultants.Also involved in selecting products for use in direct marketing campaigns to clients (e.g. annual ISA mailing) and development, collation and delivery of mailing programmes to deal with maturing investment plans.Duties incorporated copywriting letters, brochure-ware and other promotional marketing literature for use across a wide range of campaigns; working with outsourced graphic designers, printers, mailing houses and telemarketing companies for delivery of projects.

Marketing and Technical Support Adviser 1995 to 2001Successfully project managed the production, design, printing and distribution of 150 items of documentation and literature to support the introduction of an entirely new range of life, investment and pension plans from October 1999 to launch date in October 2000 and post launch to end of year. This included Key Feature documents, application forms, technical guides and policy documents. Responsibilities included consulting with user groups (e.g. Client Service teams for application forms and client communication literature), working with and instructing internal authors and external copywriters, copywriting various items, organising approval processes, authorising print runs, liaising with the in-house design, print and distribution departments to ensure pre-printed and computer generated items were in place and delivered on time.Technical adviser for Rebranding project which ran in tandem with the new product range; organising amendments required to update literature and promote a strong and progressive corporate image.Provided marketing and technical support, scripts and technical advice for Sales Force, Compliance/administration departments, I.T. teams, policyholders and Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs). This included conducting presentations for branches and internal departments.Improved investment information for policyholders by negotiating with Investment Division and restructuring printed material.
