Formerly part of ReachMobiDesigned and developed several backend services for our Web Push notification products in an AWS environment that processed hundreds of millions of requests per day. The services were built using Java running in Tomcat on Elastic Beanstalk clusters that processed incoming REST requests. All subscriber data and data-driven business logic was read from Aurora with data caching handled by Redis and Memcached. All transactional data logging was performed by sending data to Kinesis streams which stored data in a Snowflake data warehouse.Developed multiple AWS Lambdas using Python to process external and internal customer requests triggered by events from S3, SQS, EventBridge and HTTP messages.Mentored junior software developers in software development, coding quality, testing, multi-service/multi-threaded architecture and production issue investigation.

Formerly part of AdknowledgeMember of the team that created the Email & Affiliate products which scheduled and delivered targeted email content to millions of subscribers each day. Multiple back-end services were created in Java running in Glassfish that processed millions of customer requests per day.Migrated back-end services from dedicated servers running in self-hosted data-center to an AWS Elastic Beanstalk environment.
