Successful businesses have people who understand what is needed and know how to get it done. Finishing is what brings value. I am a leader with a passion to finish. To finish, you need to have a defined objective, well thought out plan and a strong team to execute. My 30 years working in large companies and startups, leading large team and small teams has taught me how to focus a team for achievement. • Work on the right thing first, many things are important but maybe not right now.• Having ideas and facilitating better ideas is critical, being right does not always matter.• Having a plan and moving forward is better than no plan at all, keep moving. These lesson’s drive my management style and how my teams work. After 15 years of leading manufacturing organizations, my last 10 years at Alta Devices has given me the opportunity to learn and expand my interests. Alta Devices ask me to construct a complex manufacturing facility, achieve and maintain EHS regulatory compliance and install complex production equipment. All of which have been achieve successfully. This experience has tough me how to build teams utilizing both internal resources (project managers, engineers) combined with external experts (GC’s, MEP Contractors, Regulatory Experts). Having a strong network of contacts and leveraging these resources is now one of my strengths. Years of experience across all aspects of manufacturing and facilities operations allows me to confidently approach any challenge and get it done. I was fortunate in my career to work in Singapore for 9 years where I raised my children and explored Asia with my family. My assignment in Singapore was personally and professionally rewarding. Returning to the US and helping lead a small startup company was equally rewarding. Since returning to the US, I have become an avid cyclist who enjoys the challenge of the next big climb.
