The Seeing Ear is a charity dedicated to providing an invaluable and 100% free service to people who want to read and enjoy printed books but have difficulties in doing so due to visual impairments or difficulties handling physical media. Our staff and volunteers work hard to help enable the reading of printed books through extensive, varied formats. My passion for English Literature and Creative Writing helps means that this is a cause close to my heart.My role as trustee includes overseeing the continued operation of the charity, alongside fellow board members. My knowledge of web design and community management affords me the opportunity to help influence the direction of the charity's online assets, including the website, Library system, and social media channels.

Responsibilities include promoting community engagement, generating consumer interest through social media, and liaising with company partners and press.

My primary task consists of ensuring the continued development and refinement of our custom-built database management system: An efficient, scalable and secure platform with which to deliver user-submitted files and resources.

I was responsible for contributing reviews and feature articles to 'The Game Discovery Engine', Playne, and providing their readership with light-hearted coverage of trends within the tech industry.

As Company Director, day-to-day duties include customer care, supplier liaising, and team management.
