Developed Quality Assurance Tools to aid in Apple's Marketing and Communication quality assurance process and created sleek, easy access User Interfaces for tools that otherwise would be access by command line.Main responsibilities included development and maintaining, MarCom overlay tool accessed by Bookmarklet on internal Q.A. servers.Tool included features such as:- Add variable percent text to page to view possible breaks in the layout- Orphan scanner to find paragraphs that have 1 word on the last line- Compare current page in another subdomain / QA server- Find broken product names that break lines in paragraphs- Footnote scanner to compare footnote items with superscripts in the HTML

Created accessible HTML for a very big client, SoCal Gas. The goal was to deliver accessible friendly content while not disrupting their current legacy Java back-end.

We want to move to continuous integration so we have fast releases, up to every 2 weeks.-Wrote Selenium tests that used feature files written in cucumber. Example:Feature: Search for hotels Scenario: Search for opaque Given the application is up And am on the home page When I search for hotels in Bakersfield, CA Then I should see 1 opaque result This example is Cucumber. However, to make this even a language that can run stuff there is tons of Java classes to add depending on how deep the page or script will go. The idea behind this is so we know when something isn't working on the front end side of things. These scripts will run after the integration is done so we don't have to have humans click all over the website. This is better, in so many ways. We will know exactly what is broken from a visual end the second it breaks and automatically receive an email :)))) One of the coolest projects I have ever done.That took up a huge chunk of my space :)I Also have agile training and develop in an agile environment.I work very hard to complete our sprint and usually end up taking a good chunk of work and knocking it waaaaaaay into deep left field, he's going, going GONE!!HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are my strong points. I have been learning JAVA (You need to write page objects) inteliJ has also been very easy to have me learn how Java works.Being as young as I am, people are supprised I pick it up so fast. To write selenium objects it would take me literally a few hours to even figure out how I am going to do this and that and this and that but when i stopped to focus.. then it being written in Java which i didn't know was probably a good 2 hour challenge.I am glad to send anyone a video of Selenium Web Objects in action and crawling webpages
