Hoover Helps is a non-profit organization that helps connect people and align resources to help meet the basic needs of the children in our community. Our current focus is to help school children that do not have enough food to eat on the weekends. The Weekenders Backpack Programs are sponsored by faith based organizations and provide a bag of food on Fridays to children in need.

Family Connection is a non-profit organization that has served youth in crisis and families for over 48 years. We are committed to supporting youth who need emergency shelter, have or are considering running away, are unhoused, are experiencing family disruption, or are in need of crisis intervention or counseling. Family Connection’s programs are therapeutic, trauma-informed, and offer immediate, short-term, and long-term supports to address each young person’s individual need.
