When I was the CEO of a grantmaking non-profit for communities affected by natural disasters, I began to realise how much more vulnerable we were ALL becoming because of climate change and other factors related to our industrial, economic, and social systems. My work with Counterpoint rests on the conviction that business-as-usual is no longer viable, and that the challenge to build a more secure future offers unprecedented opportunities. We help business leaders leave quaint notions of CSR and environmentalism behind and plant sustainability at the core of their business development strategy and daily operations, with a practical playbook - where to start, what to prioritise, how to track value and grow brand value steadily, how to build a team and empower them, how to engage employees and other stakeholders... and other nuts and bolts of implementing a strategic sustainability roadmap.
