Senior Process Engineer
Started up a Dynamic Simulation team which grew to three and a half full time equivalents. I then led this team to develop a Dynamic Simulation Model for an entire Upstream Coal Seam Gas Development, including a representation of:- Thousands of wellsite and wellbores- Nearly 2000km of pipelines- Nearly 100 trains of Screw Compression- Nearly 10 trains of Centrifugal Comprssors- A complex control system linking all of the above, covering the wellsites to the discharge of the export pipeline to an LNG plant.This is the largest dynamic simulation models that one of my teams has ever built, and I suspect this may be the largest such model ever built in Australia.Started up a Flow Assurance Team which grew to seven full time equivalents. We performed flow assurance for a large number of complex gas gathering network. Key novel developments created by myself included:- Developing software to automatically assess the bathymetry of approximately 250 pipelines at a time to determine those pipes that are at risk of terrain induced slugging. This allowed me to direct a dedicated flow assurance team to assess the performance of the critical pipes in each selection.- Developing software to interrogate PIPESIM.NET models to allow key results for large numbers of pipes to be easily collated and processed.Started up a RAM Team which grew to two and a half full time equivalents.
