Developed the first version of their hand held prescription application for physicians. Built on a customized Palm Pilot with barcode read capability. Conversion of a leading pharmaceutical database (FirstData) to persistent objects with proprietary upload to Palm. Physicians held full prescribing information in their hand including indications, counters, side effects, drug, food, and allergy interactions against the patient files that were uploaded as well. Authored a specification for wireless upload and access to a central server.

Lead and IPO in 1992 raising $2.5MM.LanSwitch – packaged with 3Com ISDN hardware allowed multiple PCs to connect using one Internet connection.Advanced Voice Telephony (AVT) - Proprietary application for MS Windows utilizing powerful features of ISDN. AVT provided coordinated voice and data access on MS Windows. Written in C++ features included drag and drop conference calling, seamless Internet connections, and linking of database objects with calls. This allowed data viewing as phone was ringing and transfer of that data with a call transfer to another agent. Worked closely with 3Com Corp in development of an external ISDN desktop interface utilizing proprietary Microkey technology built into the device.ISDN Concentrator for Bloomberg - using industrial PC platform. Developed first release of the Advanced Voiced Telephony (AVT) - a Windows based product that harnessed advanced capabilities of digital switches. Features included drag and drop conference calling and call transfer to other agents that included a simultaneous transfer of data about the call or caller.Founded Microkey Communication Systems and negotiated to share intellectual property of AVT with NYNEX.Other tasks included developing a Trunk Line tester using hardened PC and customized NYNEX line card.
